An experience in using fabrics, drawing, stitching and dyeing to reflect on our connection to nature and self.
About this Event
Sarah Crooks will facilitate this mixed-media, hands-on creative engagement workshop that will use many of the processes that created the large-scale works on view in her exhibition Home is Here: A Return to Source, including fabric dying, rubbings, stitching, and drawing. Participants will be gently guided in movement from grieving to celebration and action, giving voice to the relationships we are losing and seeking with nature and self. The workshop is open to all levels of experience.
